How to start a side project for dummies with no skills
Here I am. A dummy with no skill myself, launching a new online side project. I can’t code or design at all. So how did I do it? Luckily enough, there is Google who helped me through all the process. So, to make your life easier, I’m going to tell you the tools I usually use to test my ideas.
[DISCLAIMER: this is NOT a sponsored post. I’ve actually used these services, because when it comes to side projects I prefer to use the simplest tools out there and spend as little time as possible developing a website. I recently used all these tools to build my latest project Windly News, an international selection of the best articles delivered weekly to your email, so the list is very up to date.]
1. Buy the domain
This is my favorite part ever. Every time I have an idea, GoDaddy knows it, because I’m there checking for a domain name. Of course, the majority of the domains I bought are still there unused, but anyway, it’s where usually everything starts.
So, if you want to start an online side project, you should start with a website. I personally like GoDaddy a lot, because it allows you to connect Wordpress in the most easy way possible and any other functionality you need to have on your website.
